This tutoring absolutely works. My son and my daughter both were failing Algebra 2 when I started having them tutored. They both brought their grades up to an A on the next grading period. I cannot say enough about how wonderful my experience has been with Perry and his staff. I would recommend this to anyone whose child is failing a subject.

Jen has been helping me with tutoring for the GMAT. She's one of the best tutors I've ever had! She broke down the test for me and I'm seriously seeing major improvements when I study and in my test taking abilities. She sincerely cares about the wellbeing of her students and only wants the best and for us to succeed. She's helped me with my confidence, verbal/math skills, and over all knowledge of things I don't think I will need but turns out, I do! She seriously knows what she's doing here people! If anyone ever needs a recommendation for a tutor, I would send them to Jen in a heartbeat!

Amy Levin helped me accomplish the impossible. She helped me with my SATs and she helped me write my college applications. She is the absolute best. I didn't have the privilege to meet her in person because all of our sessions were on skype but she was able to help me through it all. She gave me study tips and taught me techniques I used on the test. I couldn't have done it with her!

Heather and her staff have done such a great job working with my 8 year old son specifically with writing. Their dedication and enthusiasm transfer down to my son who is showing great results from the interventions that are being implemented. Heather and her team are professional and nurturing and go above and beyond to make sure that we are happy!

Meg is perfect for our needs. At first glance, she is professional which earns your trust in her ability, while also just warn enough to earn my child's trust and consistent at moving lessons forward. Take another moment to reflect and she really is also providing guidance to willing parents. I could already pinpoint my own shortcomings in teaching my child; where I explain everything, she streamlines necessary information into palatable experiences for the child. She does a great job at observing the child and how they learn as an individual as well. She has the right amount of intuition and skill. The lessons she has and will continue to provide our child include various methods of reading, writing, using self motivated rewards, and even sensory experience through teaching our child how to feel the sounds she was making when sounding letters. Meg has fantastic patience and recommends a lesson length that has so far kept our child at attention. Because our child has improved so quickly, I can't recommend Meg enough. She is flexible with times, mode of communication, and she even puts up with my status update texts (I can't help but share my surprise and joy at our child's improvement!). Our child now asks each morning if it's Meg time :) Thank you Meg! We look forward to more time with you!

She was an excellent tutor for our elementary school age son. He truly enjoyed learning with her and she helped him excel in areas of reading/comprehension as well as vowel recognition and sounds. She is trustworthy, accountable and her fees are reasonable!

I contacted several tutors in the Tampa area over the span of a week and New Tampa Tutors was without a doubt the most helpful. Sandra came to my home and after taking an assessment of my math skills, she quickly provided an excellent math tutor for me. They are very good at assessing my needs and goals. The math tutor not only helped me during our sessions together, but also showed me how to efficiently study on my own. I absolutely recommend NTT!

Frank is a wonderful tutor! I really needed help writing a paper for one of my English classes, specifically with structure and concluding a paper. When Frank and I met he was right on time, which showed me he cared and was professional. Through the tutoring session, I learned so many things about writing a paper that I never knew. He helped me to feel confident about what I was writing. I definitely would refer him to anyone.

Olga-Maria helped me with ACT and SAT prep. Without her extensive knowledge of both tests and strategy for each section, I would not have achieved the score I did on both tests, specifically the ACT. She helped to raise my science and writing scores several points because of her strategies. With her expertise, she also helped me refine my skills in the Reading section, in which I scored a 34. I would highly recommend her as a tutor for any high school student looking to do their best on the ACT.

Mrs. Deb has helped my daughter go from a 1st grade, month 7 reading level to a 4th grade reading level in less than a year. I highly recommend her if your child is behind and needs the extra support that your child's teacher cannot provide. She's patient and will work with you and your childs teacher if need be. My daughter passed the FCAT and was promoted to 4th grade and is now thriving due in a large part to Mrs. Deb!

I am a retired NYC Board of Education educator. I'm currently retired in Florida and would like to obtain a position where my educational, social and bilingual experience may be useful in helping children succeed and obtain their educational goals. I work individually with students in tutoring for math and reading through arranged home visits. I follow a preset curriculum and administered pre and post test.

About

My knowledge and expertise of the English language, my love of reading and belief that learning is a life-long endeavor, my dedication to doing the very best of my ability and willingness to put in the time and effort to achieve success for my clients (tutoring or editing) are all attributes that I would look for in someone to hire. That is kind of my yardstick - would I hire me? and I can honestly say, "Yes."
