We had mold from a bathroom leak. DCR was right here and walked us through the whole process. Even filed the insurance claim for us. I am a worrier and they almost made me worry free!!

WOW! James from Coastal Mold & Water Removal just left after giving us his inspection and he was awesome! Not only did he quickly reply to my inquiry via email, he also immediately responded to my texts on a Sunday! Here it is Monday morning and he's already been here. Amazing service! Not only that, but he gave us recommendations on how to reduce the costs significantly on the repair without compromising the outcome. How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started in this work after I discharged out of the military. I went to work for a large loss emergency response team, who primarily dealt with large commercial losses. We restored everything from Mold, drug house decontamination, bio-clean up to fire, storm and flood damage. After close to 10 years of field and management work in the industry, I decided to go on my own. And though this isn’t the most glamorous type of work, I still enjoy doing it.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We completed a mold project for a young couple
Who just purchased a home where the Mold issue was not disclosed. They had young children, and due to the severity of the problem had to move out. Fortunately, we were able to get it competed in a three day time period and they are now back in the home, able to fully move in. It felt good knowing we were able to assist them.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would tell them, make sure they are licensed and insured of course. I would also tell them to make sure they are comfortable with whom they are dealing with.
