FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Not complicated at all, though some people don't always understand at first...$30 per man-hour...which means, if there is only 1 of us cleaning, it's $30 an hour...if there are 2 of us there cleaning, it's $60 an hour...you're still getting 2 hours worth of cleaning because there are 2 people there cleaning the entire hour. :)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Not really "education"...classes or things of that nature, but I do have a Facebook page for my cleaning tips...which I scour the internet to find the best ways of cleaning particular things...such as set in carpet stains and such. I also search for homemade cleaner recipes and try them out to see if they work better than store bought green products...because I always want to use what will clean my customers house the best it can be done! :)
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a roofer for 15+ years...when I moved to FL, I changed to inside work...much too hot on a roof here! lol I came from a family of 5 children and I am a mother of 5 children...I have been cleaning my entire life. I was raised by an Officer in the Army...we LEARNED to clean things properly! My father would have us stand at our bedroom doors (in parade rest) while he white gloved our rooms...if it didn't pass, we were grounded for a week. Honest truth.....so, I KNOW how to clean...I hated being grounded...it didn't happen very often at all! lol :)
