- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rate can vary depending on the circumstances (number of animals, special needs, etc. but generally fall into the $40.00 - $45.00 per visit.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. I will add you as a new client to my professional pet sitters software. 2. I will send you a welcome email with an introduction to me and my business with a bit of my background and attach paperwork that I need to have filled out. This can also be done through the pet sitting app that you would need to download from your app store to your smartphone. 3. We set up a mandatory Meet & Greet so we can meet and your animals can meet me prior to my first visit with them. Keys, garage remotes, etc. are exchanged at the Meet & Greet. 4. If you decide to hire me, I will add you to my schedule. 5. Payment is due before my first visit. Alternatively, you can leave payment for me on the counter in your home to pick up at my first visit.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've had pets almost continuously my entire life. I volunteer at a No-Kill Rescue and foster kittens for them and photograph all of their adoptable dogs for their website. I've taken a certification course through Pet Sitters International, and earned my Certified Professional Pet Sitters title. I've taken a course in Pet CPR & 1st Aid through Pet Tech. I do ongoing education through Pet Sitters International with webinars, seminars, etc.
