About
I am a certified secondary math teacher. I tutor math, from elementary to college algebra plus SAT, ACT, GED. I also have extensive homeschooling experience having homeschooled for over 15 years and having also taught homeschooled students.
I began tutoring in high school, and my passion for mathematics caused me to pursue a career in the Actuarial field.
While teaching English and Math at local Private schools, I continued to see a need for more one-on-one help. Students have different learning styles that isn't always matched in the classroom.
For now, I decided to tutor full-time and absolutely love what I do. It's my career and I endeavor to help you succeed. I will work around your schedule and give discounts for multiple hours during the same week that are booked and pre-paid.
.
I'm available days and evenings.

Audrey is patient, smart, and understanding. She is a great tutor and explains the concepts very well. I recommend her to anyone who needs help in math class.

Thanks Michelle,
I thoroughly enjoy helping you relearn some of the math you need to hopefully test into College Algebra or higher. You're a great student.

After my child first meeting with Mrs. Bridgewater, he was more confident in math. He was ready to tackle any math lesson his teacher throw his way. As a parent I was very pleased with wide range of knowledge of math material.

Great teacher that shows concern of how well you'll do on the test that you're taking or class. She concentrates on what you need improving and how you spend your time if you're on a limit. I took the SAT today and what she taught me made the test so much easier and I glided through it. Strongly recommended

My thirteen year old son was having significant problems with math this year and this resulted in a failing grade posted two months ago. After working with Audrey over the last two months he has completed the year with a "B" for a final grade.
The one-on-one focused attention made a tremendous difference in his understanding of the topics.
Thank you Audrey!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge more for in-home tutoring, as well as SAT/ACT tutoring.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will typically schedule a tutorial and meet at the local Library or bookstore. If a parent desires to meet me beforehand, that can be arranged as well.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
It is important for teachers/tutors to be aware of new research-based strategies that can be helpful when teaching. Therefore, I recently completed a few Graduate level classes at FAU/ Walden Univ. Additionally, I am certified to teach secondary math. Because I tutor multiple students from different schools including students taking online classes, I usually get a cross-reference of different ideas, insights, and study aids, that I will share with my students. I also tutor/mentor athletes whether Homeschooled or not and can help them navigate the NCAA process.
