- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
All my lessons are highly personalized. I will ask about my client's goals and why they want to learn to dance, then quickly assess their skills (if any) and ability to pick up steps and move with the music. I never require my students to have a previous dance background, or to learn any dances they do not need, or wish to learn. Every lesson with Dance-Flavor is designed to give the student the most and the best experience possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have danced and trained in various dance styles my entire life, starting at the age of 4. I have worked for various ballroom dance studios, and watched different teaching philosophies and business practices in action. When I decided to start my own business in 2010, I integrated my love of dance and the knowledge I've collected over the years in order to bring my students the best learning and dancing experience.
