- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I prefer to charge on an hourly basis. This provides the owner with maximum flexibility in budget control, and allows them to extend or shorten the program as they wish without obligation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I work with dogs and owners in their homes typically for 1 hour long sessions. During our first meeting, I clarify the owner's training objectives, evaluate the dog and how the owner handles typical situations. We agree a program together. After each session, I leave the owner written summaries of what we have covered and recommended next steps to continue progress.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been professionally training dogs and handling dogs in the show ring since 2006 and worked with some of the nation's leading professional dog trainers. I am a Professional Member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT).
