Working with Marsell of Luxe Designs as our wedding decorator was one of the very best decisions we made for our entire wedding. From our very first conversation to the final moments of our wedding day, she went so far above and beyond that “decorator” doesn’t even begin to cover what she did for us—she was a visionary, a planner, a stylist, a problem-solver, and a genuinely wonderful human being to be around.
From the start, Marsell made it clear that she cared deeply about bringing *our* vision to life, not just giving us a standard, copy-paste setup. She created a personalized Pinterest board just for us, thoughtfully curating ideas that reflected our style, our colors, and the overall feeling we wanted for our day. It wasn’t just random inspiration photos—every single pin had a purpose. She used the board to communicate concepts, adjust details, and make sure we were all perfectly aligned. That level of intentionality made the entire planning process feel exciting, clear, and completely tailored to us.
Her communication throughout the process was outstanding. She was responsive, organized, and incredibly patient, always making sure our questions were answered and our concerns were addressed. No detail was too small. If we had an idea, she listened. If we were unsure about something, she guided us with her expertise while still respecting our preferences. We always felt heard and understood, and that kind of communication is priceless when planning something as important as a wedding.
One thing that still blows our minds is the dedication and effort she put into making our cruise wedding look like something straight out of a magazine. Marsell literally brought 13 pieces of luggage onto our wedding cruise—thirteen—filled with everything needed to transform the space into something magical. That level of commitment is rare. She didn’t just show up with a few items; she came fully prepared to create an entire atmosphere.
And she absolutely did.
Our wedding was *gorgeous*. Everywhere we looked, there was something beautiful, intentional, and cohesive. The décor wasn’t just pretty; it told a story. From the big elements down to the tiny details, you could feel how much thought went into everything. It was clear that nothing was random—every flower, every piece of décor, every accent had been considered. Guests kept complimenting how stunning everything looked and how everything felt so “us.” That is 100% thanks to Marsell.
On the wedding day itself, she was calm, professional, and so on top of everything that we were able to just be present and enjoy the moment. We didn’t have to worry about whether something would be set up correctly or whether our vision would translate—it was already handled, and handled perfectly. She took what we had imagined and elevated it beyond what we could have pictured. Our wedding day was not only beautiful, but it felt special, intentional, and uniquely ours, and that’s because of the love and detail she put into her work.
Beyond her incredible talent and creativity, what truly sets Marsell apart is who she is as a person. She is kind, warm, easy to work with, and truly cares about her clients. You can feel that she pours her heart into what she does. She made the process enjoyable and stress-free, and we always felt like we were in the best hands. It’s rare to find someone who is both extremely professional and genuinely compassionate, but she is exactly that.
We are so grateful for everything she did to make our wedding day amazing and memorable. Looking back, we can confidently say that she played a huge role in making our day as special as it was. Because of that, we will absolutely be using her services for any and all events moving forward. There is no question—if we’re planning something important, we want Marsell of Luxe Designs involved.
To anyone considering hiring her: do it. She is a very special person and an exceptionally talented decorator. Our wedding was more beautiful than we ever imagined, and we have Marsell to thank for that.
