FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing reflects the high level of craftsmanship and materials we bring to every project. We provide detailed, transparent estimates and work within your budget where possible. While we don’t compete on low pricing, we do offer exceptional value—especially for high-end or custom hardwood flooring work. There are no hidden fees. Any additional work that falls outside the original scope—such as unexpected subfloor issues or added custom details—will be discussed with you in advance. In those cases, we offer a fair time-and-materials rate for any approved additional work. We also provide discounts on larger projects and for returning clients. Every job is priced fairly based on the scope and quality of work required.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process is designed to make things easy and clear from the beginning. First, we start with a consultation—either in person or by phone—to understand your vision, timeline, and any specific needs for the project. After that, we provide a detailed estimate outlining the scope of work, materials, and pricing. Once approved, we schedule the job and walk you through what to expect during the process. We handle all the details—from protecting your space to managing dust control and clean-up—so you can feel confident and comfortable throughout the project. Communication is key, and we keep you informed at every step. If anything unexpected comes up, we’ll talk through the options and solutions before moving forward.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team brings decades of hands-on experience in high-end hardwood flooring—specializing in installation, refinishing, and custom parquet designs. We work extensively with premium finishing systems like Rubio Monocoat hardwax oil, Bona, and Loba, and follow National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) guidelines for best practices in installation and sanding. Our background includes countless luxury homes where precision, durability, and aesthetic detail are non-negotiable. We treat every floor like a piece of fine furniture.
