FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $25 per visit for pet care. For dogs it will include a walk and/or playtime, fresh food & water, and medication if needed. For cats it will include love and attention, litter box care, fresh food & water, and medication if needed. Birds, Reptiles, other small pets will be as you need me to do. I do not mind to travel but if it is out of my range there may be an additional fee for mileage which we will discuss beforehand. There are no hidden fees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is quite simple. I love to meet the prospective family and interact with the pets I would care for. I think that having people meet me and see that their pets come to me naturally would assure them I am a true animal lover. Animals are an excellent judge of character. That being said the energy one omits is essential allowing a healthy contentedness that I would be a good fit for them. When it comes to house sitting, house checks and organizing I always like to meet the prospective customer. I would at that time walk through the home and discuss their expectations. I offer suggestions and we would build a plan of action. Once they decide to use me we get into far more specific things.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do not have any degree but have enjoyed well over 25 years of training at different programs. Other than years spent helping people take care of their pets, help them find good nutrition for their pet, help with skin issues and allergies their pets may have, I do have extensive years training in rescue. I am a hands on person and willing to do any task whatsoever. I have personally fostered dogs and love to help build families by being a liaison when they are ready to expand their family with a new pet.
