His proposal pricing was very fair and the work was completed within an hour. Bonus! He noticed my spa was not running at optimum levels and made the proper adjustments to ensure I was getting the maximum benefit out of my pool system and at zero cost! Scott communicated with me throughout the day and his availability. He asked the right questions to come prepared with the correct parts. When he arrived he was able to fix the issue with the pump. He did not try to over sell a new pump, repaired the 2yr old pump and saved us some additional money.   • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I prefer to go on-site and evaluate the problem in person before I give a quote. This takes more of my time but I feel it is the best way to provide an accurate estimate. Most times I don't provide an estimate, I provide an exact cost.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Be careful hiring a pool cleaner to fix or repair your pool issues. Rarely do they have the training or skills to properly correct problems and to do it at a fair price. One commonly example occurs with pump problems. The pool guy doesn't understand how to repair the pump so he tells the homeowner its not worth fixing and to replace the entire pump. This is almost never necessary and always cost the homeowner more money. I feel bad when I get called it to fix their pool cleaners "fix".

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

    This is for when talking to professionals, not before. Do they seem to truly understand the problem and can clearly explain the solution, or do they seem unsure and it feels like they're guessing.
