Hi everyone! My name is Carl Schmid. I’m a professional violinist located near West Palm Beach, Florida. I’ve been playing since I was 3 years old, made my Carnegie Hall debut at 13, and have toured and performed with artists like Steven Tyler, Derek Trucks, Yo Yo Ma, Chuck Mangione and Jason Newsted. I perform and teach a variety of styles from Bach to Bluegrass, and always focus on making learning fun and informative. I also teach ear training and improvisation and blend different styles together for maximum benefit. In addiction, I’m available for performances of all kinds - weddings, events, parties, you name it - I can create it!

I hired Carl Schmid for a violin-o-gram for my friend that was moving out of the country. The communication was excellent and he arrived early. He serenaded my friend with the most beautiful, heart touching music I have ever heard. She described it as one of the most meaningful gifts of her life. Carl’s talent and professional are second to none. Would not hesitate to recommend him for any of your event needs.

Every time we have had the opportunity to have Carl in our events, the experience is absolutely amazing, his music and the way He plays is just unbelievable, Carl is not only a gifted musician but also an incredible human being!! I can’t wait to listen to his music again!!

Carl is a natural musician, he becomes one with his violin. When he is playing you get to Experience all of the senses and moods that are meant to be portrayed in the song that he’s playing! He blends his talent with anyone that he’s playing with, and it’s amazing the agreement that he makes his violin complement the other musicians. It is a true pleasure to hear him play!
