I have hired Dave several times over the years. For me, it’s never a question… if I need live music, he is the only man. I worked in and managed bars all over central Florida. I could always see the difference in a night that Dave played music, compared to others. He can read the room and churn out a set list off the cuff that will fit the occasion perfectly. His sound, his supporting players, his crowd work, he’s a jukebox of songs and if he doesn’t know a song, I’ve actually seen him try stuff live for the first time LIVE and it be amazing. Dave not only is a great musician, but great entertainer! He’s able to make a new friend in the crowd each time. He’ll teach people proper Irish “chants” and by the end he has everyone singing along! He’s kept me coming back to the same restaurant time and time again

I booked Dave for our Company Client appreciation party and he was the talk of the night. Not only was the music well above par the interaction with the crowd was entertaining and kept everyone engaged and up dancing all night. Is there any song Dave doesn’t know? No! Request it and he will sing it. He brought down the house at our “house party”. Wonderful voice, great guitar player, story teller & sense of humor! He’s an amazing entertainer who knows how to “read the room”. Can’t wait to book him again for another party!

When our son and his lovely bride asked us to host a welcome party the night before their Innisbrook Resort wedding, our first call was to David Gilmore. He’s the secret sauce to any gathering! He’s literally a world renowned musician and entertainer with an Irish accent and warmth that bring great energy into the room. He has a veritably limitless catalog of finely honed songs that he manipulates to bring an event from gentle background “mingling” to high energy dancing. If you’re fortunate enough to hear him at an Irish Pub, he has an arsenal of authentic pub songs, too. He engages the audience with appropriate banter and tales from the road while incorporating the ideal blend of music to bring out the best in the crowd. This performer is top notch! He’s also punctual, reasonable priced and a quick, clear, punctual, communicator. And, he accepts song requests from the hosts.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My minimum fee is $500. Typically I can perform solo for up to 3 hours for that price. Because every project is different, I'm happy to provide custom price quotes tiered for up to a 4 piece band. That way you can find the perfect balance for your budget and music entertainment needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically the customer will email me to start the conversation. We'll then schedule a quick call to go over specifics. From there, I will issue a contract and take a 50% deposit to hold the date. Any questions and follow up calls are welcomed once the date is confirmed. The balance is due on the day of the performance.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have "Street MBA" as I call it. In other words, I learned by doing. My education is real-world experience performing well over 4,000 shows in 20 years.
