- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
To a certain extent. I always come out and take a look at what the customer wants done before I just throw a price out to make sure I know exactly what a customer wants.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First to get to the customer house and introduce myself. Find out what the customer is wanting , see if the customer has an idea or theme they are going for then I would start showing them different plants,shrubs and trees to try to get an idea of certain plants they like to see if we can start building a landscaping design . We always show pictures of plants to make sure the customer knows what we are talking about . We check and double check with the customer to make sure the plants they picked out are exactly what they want . And before we install any plants or trees we will lay the plants down in the design so you have a visual idea of what it looks like Incase there's something you would like to change.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out working for a landscaping company , I loved it so much I had to open my own business.
