We contracted with Paul to assemble a gazebo we bought through Amazon. We called around to get quotes. Paul was very quick to communicate and any questions we had were answered in a timely manner. We set the date for him to start the work and he was here within an acceptable amount of time to be considered on-time. He set out right away getting things laid out and organized and then started setting up the assembly. He was professional throughout the whole process. We couldn't be happier with the results. We would definitely call him again.

This pro uses high pressure tactics to secure a job asks for a 50 percent deposit to secure his time before he even start works- Just for his labor Way too many red flags I asked him to send me a copy of the written agreement he refused Then he said I’m charging you 50 dollars For the site evaluation and quote I told him to leave the premise Immediately Does not supply proof of insurance workman’s comp or references Outrageous tactics used He needs assistance on multiple levels

I’m not even going to reply to the first message since every contractor does the same thing. Secondly I wrote in front of you and handed you, which you still have the complete proposal with my signature you refused to sign in order to book your reservation. As for the estimate fee which you refused to pay I mentioned on Friday when we spoke before coming the following Monday. On top of that it says how much I charge for estimates on my profile depending on service required. Lastly you did not ask me for proof of insurance or any other items requested which I would have gladly shows proof of. As for tactics, me going out of my way to do research for you( the home owner) and giving you multiple options ranging from the bare minimum to the most expensive options is what we do. Some will just give you the most expensive option. I’m a very honest person and charge accordingly.

Paul came out, provided a quote to power wash and paint the pool patio. The paint job was poor quality - leaving a lot of the crevices unpainted and multiple stripes of uneven paint. He left the job unfinished and my paver patio covered in white paint. He did not have proper supplies, requiring him to borrow mine, and after committing to come finish and clean the pavers, has failed to return my texts and has failed to clean his mess.

I think my prices are reasonable since I am the owner and the only one who works for me.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First like to get to know one each client like a friend so I can understand what they want so I can bring there thoughts to life. Best friends for life after that one.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Besides doing rough and finish carpentry for 9 or so years. I was part of a union for 6 which put me through schooling to teach me more.
