November 10, 2025We recently hired Richard Marcy, General American Services to renovate three bathrooms in our home, and we couldnt be happier with the results. The project was completed in about 10 weeks, right on schedule, and his team was always reliable, professional, and respectful of our property.They handled all aspects of the renovation demolition, plumbing, electrical, tiling, drywall, woodwork, and painting which made the process seamless and efficient. Richard Marcy & General American Service are A+! We hired GAS 6 years ago to renovate 3 bathrooms. They did such an outstanding job that when we decided to renovate our kitchen (totally gutting it) & update our entire house, we didnt hesitate to call them again. The result is amazing!!Our project was very involved, including New LVP floors throughout the entire house, painting the entire house, painting all doors, replacing all hardware, putting in new baseboards, removing two partial walls and raising an existing wall. Richard and his team removed our 35-year-old brick fireplace to install a new electric fireplace with shiplap surrounding it and hung floating shelves on the side.They take great care and work to complete every task. We also had complex lighting changes that were accomplished; we have been in this house for almost 35 years and feel like it is a brand new home!We have referred Richard to many of our friends and would be happy to provide a reference or additional information to anyone considering a renovation. His prices are fair, hes a very honest and hard-working contractor. Highly recommend!
