I come free of judgment to work on the area(s) that needs de-cluttering, and upon completion, I leave you to enjoy the space you have reclaimed.
What do I like most about my job?
When I am asked to help someone to organize and declutter I get excited knowing I can make things better for them. Part of decluttering is learning what is important to you and knowing what you want your future to be, while living in the present. Clutter gives people the feeling of being overwhelmed, stuck, and the feeling that their energy is draining. I love working with people to deal with their clutter and see the hope return to their eyes. A clutter-free place relaxes the mind, increases efficiency, and creates a positive attitude. It is not an easy endeavor, but feels great upon completion.
What do I wish customers knew about organizing?
Organizing and decluttering is as much a mental and emotional act as it is a physical act. Learning why you keep that old shirt that doesnt fit from high school may help you understand why you havent thrown it away. Once you know why, then it is easier to address the choice of keeping it or not. I enjoy escorting clients through this educational process.

Kristi is a miracle worker! My husband and I just moved into a new home and we are expecting a baby. Over the last few months Kristi has come and helped me go through all of our boxes and closets and garage making it all organized and livable. Sometimes I had to cancel on her because I wasn't feeling very good that day, she was always kind and we would reschedule. Sometimes I would only have enough energy to do just and hour of work ( I just had to point to where something would go or say keep or donate). One day she stayed the whole day and reorganized a whole garage full of boxes. Although Kristi never knew where the day would take her at our house she came ready and willing to work. She came well equipped with trash bags, tape, a card table for sorting, and even Lysol wipes. If you need a push to help get those annoying tasks done around the house Kristi is the person for you. She just finished our house and she is about to start on my sisters. I would recommend her if you want someone who is always on time, detail oriented, non judgmental (she was sorting through our junk... It gets personal), and extremely efficient. We love Kristi and you will too.

I have needed a personal assistant to help me with a variety of things for years, from organizational matters within my home to all sorts of errands and day to day matters that I can't seem to get around to. I have found my assistant, who is helping me "master my mess" to be reliable, creative, responsible, trustworthy, and just exceptional and my life has improved dramatically. She also shows great initiative, which is helpful for me given my busy travel and work schedule, which keeps me from recognizing how much better things can be. One example of her initiative is that I had asked her to organize just a portion of my kitchen pantry. She didn't just organize it in a small, temporary way. Instead, she found organizational units (e.g., baskets, trays, etc.) to help make the pantry more usable and accessible. (Of course, she let me know that if this was different or beyond what she meant, everything could be returned, which of course I declined.) She also took on the remainder of the kitchen that was in even worse shape and I would have been hesitant to ask her to help with without first figuring some of it out myself. Hiring "Master Your Mess" has made such a huge difference for me, that I have recommended her (or a similar situation) to many of my friends.
