Debbie Boykin Piano in Winter Park

I have lots of experience in teaching in home, at my home and online private lessons (10 years online and 24 years total). I live on the east side of Winter Park which is centrally located to many areas in Orlando. I customize the learning and music to each student. For me, it's all about each student instead of always following just one method or curriculum! I really go the extra mile to make sure each student enjoys the songs they are playing and makes good progress at their own pace. My students get a lot of choices so they participate actively and the learning doesn't seem enforced. I have 24 years of experience (including 10 years experience teaching over the Internet) so I really know what works best to help students be able to play or sing. I don't get angry with my students and am happy to encourage them by only positive means. Many of my students play or sing in recitals, talent shows, competitions, musicals and theater productions and they perform very well! I also customize the payment and price - I'm willing to give senior and student discounts, put together packages and volume discounts, etc. I'm willing to try to work something out that fits the student's budget and the best way to pay that works for them. I am definitely a "people-person". I've been told I'm good with kids. It's a joy for me to work with my students and to see them sing or play better and better. I feel like their successes and achievements are mine, too! I also am very passionate about music and teaching and have a lot of patience and understanding about the challenges one faces in trying to play or sing well, so I can help them overcome any difficulty!
