- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always learning. My education includes reading, studying with my teachers and other psychics as well as teaching others - we often learn more from our students than from our teachers. Much of my "study" comes from meditation and from connection with Spirit. And from the "school of hard knocks." The ups and downs of my life are fodder for the stories and examples I offer my clients, both in suggesting what they may need to change and offering useful tools.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up in a haunted house, so perhaps that made me more open to spirits and other entities. At the age of 12 I begged Mom for a Tarot deck and started working with it, not realizing that this would lead me into a 40+ year journey of spiritual growth. 20 years ago my teacher needed an extra psychic for a convention gig and invited me. What fun! The theme of the convention was Atlantis, costumes and all!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure your reader is ethical. An ethical reader will never predict death or "bad energies around you." They will not suggest that you spend $300 on a candle or spell to "remove negative spirits." Nor will they tell you that you need to come back every few days so that they can monitor you. (In fact you shouldn't get a reading more than once per 3 months, unless it's about a totally different issue.)
