The work quality was good and Sean worked with me to find a good solution. The only negative was that it cost much more than originally anticipated. Otherwise, I would be happy to use again. Update: The installation has held up well and have received compliments from neighbors.Jun 15, 2020VerifiedWinter Park Handyman Services's reply

Sean came and installed an attic ladder for me. He arrived and he was courteous. His work was clean, efficient and of great quality. For this job he did have to relocate and reinstall a 2x4. I will be painting on my own later.Apr 28, 2020VerifiedWinter Park Handyman Services's reply
Jen, during covid and general life, you trusted us, to come in your home and help. Thank you for that trust.

I hired Sean to remove a rusted out mailbox inside a brick enclosure for me and replace it. Unfortunately, the "standard" mailboxes that I purchased were too large and the job required a lot more work if I wanted to proceed with the swap. After trying all that he could, Sean provided alternative solutions to help me avoid taking the top of the brick enclosure off and having it redone. I was satisfied with Sean's effort and service. He had a pleasant demeanor and was very professional. I found his service price to be very reasonable. I will definitely hire Sean for any of my future projects.Oct 18, 2020VerifiedWinter Park Handyman Services's reply

Trim or Molding Installation
Great work and fair pricing on a very compressed timeline. Less than two weeks start to finish for new hardwood flooring, all new trim and doors, and popcorn ceiling removal! Extremely happy with the quality of work.Aug 4, 2020VerifiedWinter Park Handyman Services's reply

Sean did an incredible job replacing an old rusted out metal door with a very cost effective fiberglass non rust door with a full 5 year warranty! An absolute pleasure to deal with and awesome Irish accent !! Dwight Abel SW OrlandoJul 8, 2020VerifiedWinter Park Handyman Services's reply
Dwight you had me from hello! You trusted us off one call to so it right, and it seems we delivered. You clearly understood that our all in price, verses labor and materials, saved you about 1k. its our secret sauce to deliver the best quality services and product as one #1 price.
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? We price per hour or per project. Many customers ask “can’t you quote for $500 square feet of tile on the phone”. WE NEVER do this, for it causes multiple problems like us underestimating or pricing is out of the job. We are honest and ethical with all of our quotes, we can only do this by making sure what you consider “simple”, may have many factors you have not taken into consideration. Example: tile job - demo/removal of materials, leveling floors, trim install/materials/painting, grouting with/style, transitions/no transitions into rooms and materiel beyond tile.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Jean insists to talk then text. She answers all calls, it’s your home we want you to know we respect it. Jean does all the books, advertising and scheduling. Sean will always say, the boss needs to clear it before he commits to anything.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Sean is Welder by trade, then moved to Boston and learned carpentry. Jean is from NYC, was an Executive in IT for 20 Years, prefers helping a customer design and shop for reasonably materials (she is an amazing bargain hunter and negotiator).
