About
Creating unique projects has always been a passion of mine. In my 36 years of experience in the construction industry I have had the opportunity to be a part of thousands of projects, each one of them different and unique. If there is one thing I have learned, it is that as a homeowner you are taking a risk every time you engage a "contractor". When I founded Forever Outdoors that was top of mind. That is why we offer simple to understand up-front pricing that is guaranteed. This means you will never see an additional charge from us after the project has started even on the most complex projects.

The project design was professional and very nice. I had to cancel our project because of the permitting delays from the city. I appreciate Mr. Bryan agreeing to refund almost the full amount of $11.500 and looking forward to it

It was a pleasure working with Bryan and his crews. Bryan provided a detailed proposal of all work to be done and his crews executed with care and diligence. I had an access ramp built to connect my deck to a newly built retaining wall and had some additional grading and a retaining wall built. They showed up on time, completed the work as expected and cleaned up the areas thoroughly. I will recommend and hire Bryan again for any project!

4/21/2026: It has been one month since I first shared my experience with Forever Outdoors, and there has been little noticeable improvement. I was only informed last week that the contractor relies on subcontractors to complete the work—something that was not disclosed upfront. The exact wording used was, “I have a crew that does the work,” which implied an in‑house team. This lack of transparency has led to ongoing delays and uncertainty, as timelines depend on third parties. Had I known that building a front and back porch could take 8–10 months, I would not have moved forward with this contract. At this point, eight months have passed, and actual on‑site work has totaled approximately 25 days. -------------------------------------------------------------------- 3/21/2026: You would think that hiring a contractor for your project would make the process easier — after all, a contractor is supposed to handle project management, crew management, and time management. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. Instead of leadership or follow-through, Bryan has offered little more than excuses every time I’ve checked in. I am writing this review while my project is still incomplete, in the hope that documenting my experience publicly might finally motivate this contractor to take responsibility and finish the work. The delays have been so extensive and so unreasonable that I simply cannot stay silent any longer. What was supposed to be a straightforward project is now six months overdue — far beyond the original timeline that was confidently promised at the beginning. Every deadline has been missed. Every commitment has dissolved. And every conversation has been followed by yet another excuse. At no point has there been genuine accountability or any real effort to course‑correct. What began as simple unprofessionalism has snowballed into a pattern of behavior that feels relentless, draining, and completely unacceptable. At this stage, the ongoing delays, repeated runaround, and clear disregard for my time and trust no longer feel like mere disorganization — they feel like harassment. No client should be forced to chase down updates or be strung along for half a year with empty promises that go nowhere. To make matters worse, I have never once withheld payment. I have honored every financial agreement exactly as promised. These delays are not due to funding issues, or anything on my end. They fall squarely on the contractor, who has repeatedly failed to uphold their responsibilities. This experience has caused significant stress, inconvenience, and frustration. I strongly urge anyone considering this contractor to think twice. Reliability, transparency, respect for a client’s time, and the ability to follow through on commitments are the bare minimum standards of professionalism — none of which were demonstrated here.
