- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I chose to work in this industry because I was introduced to the garage door services business by a family member and instantly became passionate about it. I enjoyed the type of work, the challenges that come with it, and the opportunity to help people. After working in the industry for several years and thoroughly learning the trade at all levels, I decided that I wanted to take my passion for helping people directly to the customer by opening my own garage door business, Balanced Garage Doors. We started in this industry in 2011. We describe our business as Family owned and operated.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always ask if the service provider charges a service fee to come to your residence before committing to getting an estimate. Use local service providers that have recent reviews that show customer satisfaction.
