- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
FORD Productions offers many different music related services such as Recording and Mixing, Music Production, Coach/ Mentor, A&R consulting, Marketing and Promotion and Music Licensing. Our prices are on a project by project basis, and are set to work within your budget. If you are just looking for a professional recording, the Recording Studio is available as an hourly rate with discounted pricing for full and half day bookings. If you need a song created for you from scratch, or production on a pre-existing song, our Music Production Services are available as a package, with discounts for multiple songs. New Music Production can also be priced by the hour, with an average song production, recording and mix taking approximately (4) days to complete. On average our clients release 3-10 songs with us per project,including music production, recording, mixing, marketing & promotion spending on average $15K. Only select artists are accepted for full development and major label representation. This is a fun business, but also a seriously competitive business, requiring a complete commitment on the part of the artist. With commitment, hard work, perseverance and understanding, it can become a business of dreams.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If you are beginning a new project, are new to the music business and don't know where to begin, I suggest booking a hour studio session for a consult. In the consultation we can target your goals, identify your audience and choose the best coarse of action to obtain your biggest dreams
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I travel all over the world attending the major music conferences each year, such as MIDEM, POPKom, SXSW, Winter Music Conference, DJ Expo, Promo Only Summer Sessions, The Billboard Music Film and Television Conference, and more to build relationships, sell music from my artists and learn the latest in this ever changing music business. On the music production side, I am privileged to regularly work with some of the most talented musicians, artists and producers in the world. With every new project I learn new tricks and tips, for creating the hottest new trends. I am also a certified Pro-Tools instructor and I teach Music Production and mixing for the most premier Pro-Tools certification school. This keeps me up to speed on the latest technology and techniques for the optimal audio experience.
