Overall the job was done well and we were happy with the results. I scheduled a 12 pm move with A Good Reason, but they did not show up until closer to 1:30 pm. They did call at close to 12 pm to let me know they could not get to my house until closer to 1:30 pm. We the two gentlemen showed up I showed them the table and the basement and they told me that the job was bigger than they were told. I explained that I had requested the quote and spoken by phone with A Good Reason and told them that name brand of the table and that the table was to be moved from our sun-room on the main floor of our house to the finished basement. The said they would honor the quote and take it up with A Good Reason. The delay and the confusion had come about because A Good Reason had outsourced the move to another company. The confusion was that they were told that the table did not have to be disassembled to be moved, but even I know that you have to breakdown a table to typically be able to move it to another room. We never discussed moving the table in one piece and even though the pool table was only a 7 foot table, 2 guys would not be able to lift the table and get it down a flight of stairs. At the end of the day the job was done very well and they showed me some issues with our table that they were able to fix during the reassembly without a problem. Overall the process went well, the 2 movers were friendly and professional once they got past the fact that the table had to be broken down. Rodney with Arrow Billiards was the subcontractor on the move and I thought they did a great job. I would recommend him to anyone, so I can state that A Good Reason got the job done, just a later than I was told.
