On time, did job that other contractors said "couldn't be done", super fast in work, will continue to use for EVERY electrical issue I have! Carlos es Mejor!!
Gabrini was the absolute best and I wish all contractors were as great as him. He purchased the subway tile I wanted for me prior to coming to our home, was done in 1 day as promised, blocked off the kitchen and cleaned up after so it was perfect. Also his work is amazing and looks so good. I can't wait to hire him again for another project one day!
I'm very satisfied with the service this contractor provided. Will use them again for future projects.
General Contracting - I had several projects to be done as we were getting to put my home of 8 years on the market (kitchen leak, kitchen bay box, shutters, paint, deck). After reading all the reviews, I decided to contact Michael to get a quote. Due to scheduling conflicts, I couldnt originally meet him on Friday or Saturday, so he took it upon himself to come on a Sunday (which is pretty unheard of since most contractors usually dont work on Sundays) to assess the job and do his pre-inspection. The quote was more than reasonable for the amount of work I demanded and Michael was hired All jobs were done in a timely manner; it took approximately 2 weeks due to the weather and schedule conflicts. He kept me informed of what was being done each day and sent pictures of any findings needing attention. I would call Michael and TNT Building and Remodeling LLC if I ever need any work done on my future home and would recommend them to anyone.
Ron was able to do the painting and carpentry work I needed preventing me from having to coordinate with separate contractors. He has good attention to detail and works swiftly. I am very pleased with the outcome.
Hired Bobby to do some remodeling to get our house in shape for selling. he had a lot of good ideas on changes, fixes, upgrades that would enhance the value. He provided a detailed estimate at a fair price and did an excellent job in performing all the work. he even went above and beyond and did some work not in the original estimate...and did not charge us! he always showed up when he said he would and worked long hours to complete the project when he said he would. I had planned to hire several different contractors for the project (remodeling, painting, landscaping, general clean-up) but Bobby was able to do the entire project saving us time in trying hire and manage several separate contractors. I would highly recommend Bobby & Christian Brother Remodeling for any remodeling project.
Mr. Johnson was very punctual. He was very diligent, and was very knowledgeable in the field of plumbing and the electrical fixture repair. I would highly recommend him, and would hire him for future projects. I hope he maintains this level of service A+.
In November 2015 I hired Mr. Hood to perform roof repair to fix a leak. He responded promptly by phone and I explained where I believed the leak was coming from. He stated he could come by the following day to inspect and give an estimate. As promised he showed up on time and provided a fairly priced estimate and stated he could complete the repair the following day, which I agreed to. Long story short, he had to come back two additional times before the leak was finely repaired. Being a former construction contractor myself, I understand how difficult it is to retro fit an existing issue especially a roof leak. Mr. Hood promptly replied to each of my text messages letting him know that the leak was still happening after the next rain. He always replied promptly and scheduled to come out the following day to repair. On the third attempt he successfully repaired the leak which was thoroughly tested with the torrential December rain we had. ***The point I would like to make is that Mr. Hood was always very professional and on time and did what he said he would do and his repair quote was reasonable. I would recommend him to anyone who asked. D. Houston
As an engineer we have a saying that goes "good, fast, cheap; pick two). We got pushed back a little further than originally anticipating but as I worked in construction and weather it was understandable. They were BY FAR the lowest price on architectural shingles and lower with this price than all but one or two who quoted 3-tab shingles. I didn't see any nails on the ground after the job and Ray told us we could load any trash besides paint and something else before the trash company picked up the container a couple days later. They pay per pound as that's the only way I've ever found plus haul and deliver and maybe number of days. Ray was easy to work with and I know we had some plywood sheets replaced. Cover your stuff in the attic as there was a mess up there which I should of anticipated as he said he replaced several sheets. There were nail penetrations in the attic roof (quite a few) which I could bend sideways with a hammer. I'm not stating that last part to complain but more so as a courtesy to the business for future clients. We feel we got much more than we paid for which is VERY rare when dealing with contractors. If you want super pretty attic ceailing it will cost you and the competitors who bid a lot more didn't guarantee it to us except one who did use a better pad but was also a grand and a half less than TWICE what The Art of Home Improvement charged. I would recommend to my family members and friends in a second (unless they want a metal roof which I don't know if they do or not.)
I was so impressed with the two-man crew who came to do the work at my house. They were thorough, careful, and checked in with me throughout the job to make sure I was satisfied. Even when I decided that I needed one more coat of paint to cover my formerly very dark cabinets, they willingly complied. They were able to achieve a ceiling repair that most other contractors had said would be much more difficult. They handled it like a breeze. I like the little touches, like going out to their truck on a smoke break, rather than smoking anywhere near the house. I will definitely use this company again !!
My wife and I recently bought a house and we were looking for floor installer to give a new modern rustic look for the 15-year-old house. We chose Andy and his assistant/wife Aida for the job and they have been a blast! Below I will list some pro and con based on my own but true experience. Scope of the project: 1. 2,800 sqft old floors removal, 2. Level up the subfloor by adding plywood underlayment 3. Glue down 1/2" engineered floors Pro: 1. Quality: Andy's work is top notch, he and his team removed all carpet and floors in just one day and left no dirt or debris. When he's working on nailing down plywood or gluing down floors, he is very focused, tactful, and fast. He makes sure long beautiful plank lied own in the middle of a room and hides discolored floors on side near walls. 2. Price: Andy's price is very reasonable. He wouldn't mind to work with you on his pricing to make sure both parties are aligned. So even his quote isn't the best, please do communicate with him and he certainly will work with you. 3. Punctuality: By far, Andy is the only one who keeps showing up on time and finish each part of the project in the timeline as he promised. 4. Communication: Andy speaks more English than you thought. Besides, you can always speak to his wife Aida for more clarification. 5. Work ethics/professionalism: I think Andy takes great pride of his work. And he wouldn't cut corners for short-term gain and put his long-term flooring career in jeopardy. One example I've experienced, when Andy was nailing down the plywood, he used more than needed number of screws to stabilize the plywood and repeatedly step on them to make sure no squeaks. Knowing we had other contractors to work in the house simultaneously, Andy put down paper to cover all floor area as a protection. 6. Personality: Unlike a lot of contractors, Andy always puts a smile and his face and listens to what you want and how to achieve it. Con or area for improvements: Please fix the logo on your truck. I don't think I would like the mis-spelled last name from "Valles" to "Vallez"!
Jose' and Ali are finishing up several projects at my house. The big one was a renovation to my patio where I wanted to remove 2 of the support pillars, add a LVL beam and change the existing beams to stacked stone. It was a big project, but the job they did is outstanding and they did it in record time. They also replaced 2 doors that were rotting out. I've been looking for a contractor like this since I moved into my current house. They have earned a customer for life. Their prices are very reasonable, they work very hard to make sure it's right, and they do fantastic work. They'll be back for the other future projects I can dream up, not to mention the repairs that any house needs from time to time.
Hank is one of the best construction guys I have had the pleasure of working with. His knowledge of his industry is fantastic and he makes you feel very comfortable and confident in his ability to do his job. He built my back yard deck and front deck steps. The quality of work is amazing and my wife and I are so happy with the outcome. I would highly recommend Hank to anyone. He also does the work himself with his team which for me was a bonus. I have met with other contractors who come out for a quote and you never see them once you hire them, Hank is not one of these people. He cares about his clients and takes pride in doing the best job for them.
Great experience! Excellent outcome in out kitchen and bathroom remodeling. They were really knowledgeable and professional A+ contractor. On time and budget. Outstanding!
Ameka exceeded our expectations! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality contractor. Thank you Jeremy!!!!!
I was in the process if renovating a kitchen and 2 baths when things wasn't going well with my previous contractor. Elisha came in fixed a lot of things. He did my tile in all three rooms, some backsplash, put in a new vanity, toilets, etc. There were things he had tear out and start over but he worked patiently and didn't get fustrated. He was very concerned in making my wife and I happy and his price was was very compatible considering going behind another contractor. If you nervous about choosing a contractor then erase your fears because this is your guy
Carmelo was absolutely amazing! I just purchased my house and needed several things done. I used thumbtack to find contractors. Carmelo was able to finish everything I had not found a contractor for. I will DEFINITELY hire him again in the future. I highly recommend him. I have attached a couple before/after pictures of kitchen area.
Brent was great to work with! He was prompt with his on-line response, he was on time to evaluate the project, is very knowledgeable about the siding/trim replacement, and gave me a verbal quote before he left. After hiring him for the project, he and his crew arrived on-time every morning, and typically worked into the evenings to complete the job on schedule. He is a hands-on owner, with attention to detail, and works side by side with his crew. You can count on him to be on-site, and personally manage the quality of the work. I’ve hired several contractors throughout the years, and right now, I have a hard time thinking of any that were better to work with than Brent. Definitely two 👍 👍!
I'm very pleased with the end result; the bathroom looks great. The project took significantly longer than estimated (partly due to unforeseen issues with the house/partly due to the contractor), but the quality of work was great.
Joseph, really turned around our opinion of contractors. The guys he sent to complete the job were on time (to the minute), professional and cleaned up properly. The level of pride they had in their work was something that seems have been lost over time.
Fast responses. Best Contractor I’ve use
