FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing discussed upon request after hiring party gives general information about the event.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My potential customers usually contact me via my cell phone number. At that time, we briefly discuss exactly what type of vocal music they are looking for, the type of event, the venue for the event and the location. All of these things in addition to the number of songs performed determine the fee for the event. Once these preliminaries are agreed upon, I set up a time to meet in person. At that time, I present a performance contract for review based on the preliminary info discussed. If there are any changes to be made, we will discuss them and come to a mutual agreement on the results. Once the contract is signed by both parties (myself and the hiring person(s) involved), I move forward with my preparation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Music from Clark College (now Clark Atlanta University) in 1981. I began performing for weddings in 1979, then began performing with various groups and bands in 1982. Currently, I sing both as a soloist and as a vocalist in a band. I also sing in two church choirs at my church.
