We hired Kevin to have our granite countertops in our kitchen. At our first meeting Kevin educated us on using the additional granite for our bathrooms since we were paying for the granite by the slab. The process itself was slightly confusing (going to pick out the granite) with no prices or knowledge other than "pick out what you like". I paid slightly more for the granite I selected but I'm thoroughly pleased. The installation was fast and efficient.

WHAT WENT RIGHT: Kevin is great. He honestly cares about the work that's being done and he cares about you as a client. My countertops are gorgeous!!!!! The installation team - Jackson at al., arrived on time, and worked quickly. WHAT WENT WRONG: He contracts out for the actual installation and unfortunately, not all of the people who partners with him are as professional and competent as him. As I mentioned above, Jackson at al., arrived on time, and worked quickly but they failed to let me know that with the new countertops, my dishwasher won't work correctly and not properly affixed without a new bracket. I found out the hard way. I opened by dishwasher and the entire unit pulled out from underneath the cabinet. MY RECOMMENDATION: Regarding the installers, if you are a single woman, I advise you ask a lot of questions, follow behind their work (to make sure things that were working before they came are still working), and have a man present. I know, it sounds archaic. But trust me, it's sad to say that some men just take you more seriously and less likely to take advantage of you when you have another man present. Also, if you decide to get backsplash, do not let a man named Michael/Mike in your home. The GOOD NEWS: If you want countertops, he's your guy!!! Kevin always did his best to remediate any issue that I had after the countertop. He never ignored me, he listened to me and tried to help. He's a stand up guy.

Kevin and his team over at Stonewall were great to work with. They did an amazing job on my kitchen and bathroom countertops. Very professional and attentive to detail. I will definitely use them again when I finish my basement remodel.
