25 years a DJ and 16 years professionally I have worked over 650 weddings and just as many corporate events in my career. We used DJ Nightrain on 12/13/25. He is a great DJ if you want a rave like party, but if you’re looking for a highschool dance type he probably isn’t the best route to go. It could have been from our music choice that messed it up as well, but I think rave is probably more of his style. He arrived on time, set up quickly, and left when his time was up. Overall he did great with what he had to work with!

Hired Mickey Nightrain for my daughter’s sweet 16 and was very pleased. Quick to respond, arrived on time, played good mixes, professional, great sound system & lights. Transformed our neighborhood clubhouse into a nightclub for teens. For our group, just mixed & played music; but I wasn’t looking for a lot of interaction with the crowd. My daughter and her friends had a great time.

My husband and I had a dry wedding. When we met with Mickey he knew the right questions to ask. He asked very detailed questions to get to know us and our music taste. We specifically told him since we were having a dry wedding we wanted everyone to be dancing. He told us that's his main goal. On the wedding day everything was perfect! Everyone stayed on the dance floor and had an amazing time. Everyone loved the mixed songs and light beams! Multiple people came up to me telling me that he was the best DJ they've ever seen for wedding. Mickey also made an awesome mix for my father and I song. Everyone loved it! If you want an awesome DJ who knows what they're doing you need Mickey! Thanks to Mickey we had a blast at our wedding! Who needs alcohol to have a good time?
