- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Offered exclusively through Thumbtack: a series of Express Bath Bar Packages. All Express Bath Bar packages include a Shampoo & Condition, Blow-dry, Ear Cleaning & Nail Trim. Additional Fees Apply for matted hair or coats, fleas & ticks and/or skin conditions that require special attention. Add-ons, such as Shedding Coat Removal, Gland Expression, Teeth Brushing, Nail Polish, Pawdicures, etc. are available with consultation. We base our Express Bath Bar packages on the breed, size, temperament and length and condition of the coat. Dog coats differ in terms of color, texture, and length. Each coat will be divided into one of three categories: smooth coat, curly and/or long coat, and/or double coat. A Smooth Coat lays flat. A Curly and/or Long Coat is longer hair that may be wired, silky and/or curly. A Double Coat is a type of coat that consists of two layers, a dense undercoat of short hairs under a top coat of longer hairs called guard hairs. Examples of double-coated breeds include: Akita, Alaskan Husky, Shiba Inu, Pomeranian, German Shepherd, Siberian Husky, Bernese Mountain Dog, Golden Retriever, Labrador Retriever, etc. Please be advised that all pets must show proof of current vaccinations (Rabbies, Bordatella & Distemper) in order to receive services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Exclusive package pricing offered through Thumbtack applies to our Bathing Services which are offered only at our salons. Our grooming services are available upon consultation and also offered only at our salons. Once you accept our Quote, we will invite you to register on-line in our New Client Portal or we can call you to set up your appointment at a date and time that is convenient for you. At your pet's in-take, we verify vaccinations and appraise your pet to confirm appropriateness of package selection based on the breed, size, and length and condition of the coat. These are drop off/pick up services at either of our two locations: Inman Park (715 Edgewood Ave NE) or Old Fourth Ward (448 Ralph McGill Blvd NE). We ask that our clients plan for their pets to stay with us for a minimum of 2 hours to perform the services.
