FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Please note: the estimated per-session price you may see is listed for comparison purposes only. That number reflects just the first hour of a session, with no travel time included. The clock would start the moment you open the door. Been there. Done that. It’s… dreadful. That’s exactly why we don’t offer pay-per-session training. Instead, we offer complete programs with clear, fixed pricing, so you know the total investment upfront and never feel like the meter is running or that anyone’s trying to squeeze extra time out of you. Why programs? Because successful training takes consistency and commitment. In our experience, real progress rarely happens one session at a time. Programs give you and your dog the structure needed to actually get results—not just quick tips. Our goal is simple: we want you and your dog to succeed and genuinely enjoy life together. To support that, we offer a variety of results-based programs that cover essential obedience and help address common behavior challenges. Our most popular programs are typically completed in about 6–8 sessions, depending on the program you choose and the goals you’re working toward. We also offer a starter program. Something to get your feet wet. Though not as comprehensive as our results-based programs, it does give you the information you probably needed yesterday—things like potty training, setting up your home for a new pup, and a few foundational commands. They’re a great introduction to training, and in many cases, you can get started the same day. Because our programs are private, the focus is entirely on you. Sessions are tailored to your goals and adapt as things come up along the way—because real dogs don’t follow scripts. We also like to train where life actually happens. Most sessions take place in your home, where you and your dog are most comfortable and distractions are manageable. No driving. No parking. No extra stress. For our Life Skills programs, we’ll also train out in the real world—parks, dog-friendly stores, and other everyday environments—so your dog learns to succeed where it really matters. And because this level of training is personal and hands-on, we can only work with a limited number of families at a time. When we reach capacity, we may have a temporary waitlist. 👉 Get your Free Discovery Call now and let’s talk about the best path forward for you and your dog.

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended the Marin Humane Society's first Academy for Dog Trainers. Over the years I've attended in-person seminars and completed online courses to learn/expands my skills...but it's the hands-on real life experience working with hundreds of dog over more than 29 years that makes up the bulk of it.
