Hi, I’m Kristen! I am a traveling Certified Professional Pet Sitter with over a decade of experience, caring for pets of all kinds. I offer an enriching and highly personalized level of care, catered to each individual pet. I am particularly experienced and skilled caring for pets with special behavior needs. Those who are shy/fearful, leash reactive, inter-household conflict requiring extra structure or separation, high energy, pets that are easily overstimulated, and more. I am incredibly confident in my inter-species communication skills, allowing me to build a relationship with each pet, based on trust and mutual respect. With dogs, I am knowledgeable of behavior theory and comfortable and experienced with most widely used training techniques, so I can ensure your pet receives the consistent care routine and structure they are most familiar with, leading to a less stressed pet when you leave. I’m the owner of Lefty’s Pet Care, named after one of my dogs, Lefty, based in Atlanta, GA. We are a small team of Pet Care Professionals, serving Atlanta, GA. My own pets and I have left life in the big city and are traveling in our RV, while I manage my business remotely. We are enjoying the experience of a more self sufficient and simplified lifestyle, spending most of our time experiencing new places we haven’t seen, out in nature, where we are happiest. Even though I’m lucky to have an amazing team and the opportunity to manage my pet care business remotely, I still miss the work that makes me feel most fulfilled, and that is working directly with pets to enrich their lives and their people to provide a sense of security while they are away from their beloved furry family members. I am currently offering my services in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia, but willing to travel further if the dates allow! My focus is always on your pet’s health and happiness, your home’s safety and security, and my client’s well informed, peace of mind!
