FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Diagnosis: *$75 Labor: *$65/hr - 1 hr minimum Parts: Paid by customer Part Ordering: Customer pays for parts up front -Most common repairs are quoted as a flat rate after diagnosis, so you know the cost before work begins. *Diagnostic fee is waived for repairs requiring over 3hrs of labor *Labor is billed in 1/2 hr increments after the first hour
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is simple: First, I’ll ask a few questions about the computer and the issue you’re having. Then I’ll perform a diagnostic to find the problem and give you a clear repair estimate before any major work is done. If you approve the repair, the diagnostic fee is applied toward the final cost. Once approved, I’ll complete the repair, upgrade, cleanup, or Windows setup, then fully test the computer before returning it. I’ll also explain what was done and give you practical recommendations so you know whether it makes sense to repair, upgrade, or recycle the device.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Before contacting me, try to have a basic idea of the device you have, the issue you’re experiencing, when it started, and whether there is important data on the computer. It also helps to know whether your goal is repair, upgrade, data transfer, custom PC build, or recycling. I’ll ask the right questions from there and help you decide what makes the most sense based on the computer’s condition, value, and your budget.
