Brandon Moore didn't honor the price he quoted me on the ph of $80.00 to put up a ceiling fan. He changed the price after the fact. He used a bait & switch tactic unfair, deceptive business practice. He is a fraudster. He said I owed him $300.00 now. $80.00 for the service call & $ 54.00 per hr. it took 4 hrs for him to put the ceiling fan up. He had no ladder, he used my ladder. He isn't a licensed electrician but does electrica work on his regular job he told me he handles higher # of voltages than a house switch. Thumbtact is a part-time platform he use to mislead consumers. I'm a senior I live alone so I paid him so he could leave my home. This was a bad dramatic experience for me! I don't think he knew what he was doing by his actions after he started trying to put up the fan. He continued reading instruactions while laying on the floor. When he finished the lights & fan both came on, not separate. He tied a cord that hanges down to operate the lights in my guest bedrm it looks bad
Im very dissatisfied w this so called contractor we over charged me for a poor job. Then he ask if I would give him my 48 in t.v. that was still in the box since I though $300.00 dollars he was over changed me. Then Brandon said he'd only charge me $200.00 pluse the t.v. I paid $400.00 dollars for. I said no & we went back & forth about the price. I live a lone & I just paid him, so he'd get out of my home! I will not have a contractor alone in my home again to be taken advantage of by his unethical scamming me in my own home. He say that I lived alone. I wouldn't want this to happen to another senior single women. No female. That is why I'm sharing my experience. I will also report him to the BBB, & DTPA, State Attorney General so others can be protected. Brandon needs to be held accountable. I hope to hear back from Thumbtact
