- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At BT Handyman and Moving, we believe in honest, straightforward pricing. We provide clear estimates before any work begins so there are no surprises. Pricing is based on the scope of work, time required, materials (if needed), and job complexity. We offer competitive hourly rates for smaller jobs and flat-rate pricing for larger projects or moves. Discounts may be available for seniors, veterans, repeat customers, and bundled services. There are no hidden fees — everything is discussed upfront.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by discussing your project details either over the phone or through a message. For larger jobs or moving services, we may schedule a quick walkthrough to provide an accurate quote. Once pricing is approved, we schedule a convenient service date. On the day of the job, we arrive on time, complete the work efficiently and carefully, and ensure everything is cleaned up before we leave. We always confirm customer satisfaction before closing out the job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our experience comes from years of hands-on work in home repairs, installations, furniture assembly, and residential and commercial moving. We are trained in safe lifting techniques, equipment handling, packing methods, and proper use of tools and materials. Safety, efficiency, and attention to detail are priorities on every project.
