Chris did an amazing job with a number of repair jobs at my home: 1) Installing a new garage door opener 2) Installing (5) new smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms 3) Re-caulking my guest bathroom 4) Installing (3) new light fixtures 5) Installing (1) new fan in my guest bedroom, repairing my master bedroom fan, and removing my living room fan 6) Repairing (3) blind valances that required new clips 7) Installing new hand towel fixture for my half bath Chris was extremely friendly, thorough, patient, and all his work was of high quality. He arrived on time and cleaned up after himself and removed all the empty boxes, old garage door opener, and took them to the dumpster. I would absolutely recommend him and would rehire him for additional work as well!

Chris is great to work with! He was on time and worked hard. He got a lot more done then our last handyman and everything works perfectly. He even saved me a trip to Lowes. He cut the vented metal laundry shelf to fit the area. I highly recommend Chris!

Chris is great! He installed a punching bag on my ceiling rafters and a bat house high on the side of my house, and went above and beyond on both. He also designed and constructed a wooden barbell rack since my walls unfortunately can’t support the weight. He sent me the designs and took my input into account when coming up with the final design.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

House calls start at $60 which includes 1hr labor. Additional labor is $45 per hour and can be prorated. Referrals get their very first hour for $45 as well.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

My entire life, I have always loved fixing & building things. I was constantly taking things apart to figure out how they worked, and then putting them back together good as new. I also love filmmaking; I frequently build sets and set design for film & tv. The problem is, with film, you create something beautiful, film it, and then most likely destroy it the next day. The work that I do for my Handyman, installation, & renovation customers is permanent, and I really enjoy that.
