We were looking to expand our half bathroom into a full bath to include a shower, and we couldnt be happier that we chose to go with Orange Cat Flooring for this project. Christian and his team did an excellent job bringing our vision to life and the new bathroom exceeded our expectations. The team was extremely professional and committed to completing the project within the given timeframe with incredible attention to detail. Christian was very knowledgeable and easy to communicate with, whether in finding solutions or advising on materials/suppliers for everything we needed. After researching and interviewing nearly 10 contractors for my master bath remodel, I selected Christian and Orange Cat based on customer reviews, workmanship, and fair pricing. Christian was great to work with - he and his team completed my bathroomremodel in about a week and were on time every day. Additionally, Christian was meticulous with his workmanship (which was important to me) and ensured I reviewed and approved each step of the project from tile layout design to grout color BEFORE he moved forward with installation. Additionally, Christian met me at Floor and Decor to select my tile and was patient with each and every question I had throughout the install and quickly responded to all my questions via phone or text (and I had alot of them!). Moreover, he and his crew cleaned up all debris daily. I had a few changes I wanted to make after the tile was installed (he removed a few tiles and retiled) and needed to have him come back and re-grount one small area after it settled and he came back to my home and corrected everything with no issues. I would highly recommend Christian and would have him come back and do more renovation work for me! The pictures included reflect the tile work Christian completed. Note the frameless shower was installed by a separate contractor and the paint has not been completed yet (separate contractor for this as well)

For months I had been searching for the perfect contractor to fix my bathroom situation; the floor of my 70sq ft bathroom needed to be re-tiled due to water damage from a leaking pipe behind the wall, and I suspected I had a leaking shower pan as well. Some people wanted way too much money, while others were only interested in a job in the $10k-$20k range. Some contractors never returned my calls, while others came to look at the project to prepare a quote, but I never heard from them again (ahem, Moda). That's when I turned to Thumbtack and found Orange Cat Flooring - now my problem is solved. Christian responded to my Thumbtack inquiry right away with a quote that was more than reasonable. He came the next day to look at the job, which at the time was just to re-tile the floor (crossing fingers that the shower pan was alright). All was going according to plan. Christian was responsive, polite and very professional. A fresh change of pace compared to what I had been dealing with from other contractors. All in all, I was "feeling good", which is important. Always trust your instincts
The morning of the job the tile was removed from the bathroom floor and my concern about the shower pan became a reality. Christian and I discussed a change in course for the project; we needed to install a new shower pan and then move on to the floor to re-tile. Christian's favorite phrase while working on this job was "no problem". Both Christian and his crew member, Jefferey (who was also professional, polite and a great worker) hopped into the truck and headed to Home Depot to get the supplies needed for a new shower pan. Altogether I got a new shower pan, new tile on the bathroom floor, and they cleaned up the grout inside the shower. Now, I can honestly say that I have the best bathroom in my building. I'm sure others in my condo will be having bathroom envy :)
I give these guys two thumbs up - way up, for the amazing service they have provided. This has turned out way better than I ever would have imagined. Thanks again fellas. I'll make sure to give you a ring in the future when the need for more floor or tile work arrises.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We provide value for our customers. We are not the cheapest on the market but being in the industry for so long we understand the competition and more important the customers needs. We always try to do the right thing, our estimates are all itemized and very transparent.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have a brief phone conversation to have an idea what the customer is looking to achieve, then we set up a meeting in person to take a look at the project, measure and provide a quote. The estimates are FREE of charge.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have a dozen of certificates from attending leading industry brands workshops from Schluter, Mapei, Loba, Bona, Ardex... We are also members of NTCA and NWFA.
