Introduction: I help couples and families overcome roadblocks in their relationships. I connect with clients using Zoom which is super convenient and user friendly. I'm always looking for ways to get to the core underlying issues and empower my clients with the skills they need to succeed. I consider it a privilege to help people become "unstuck" and move forward in their lives. Couples Counseling: Couples learn to communicate openly and more effectively with one another. Partners learn to express themselves and clarify the underlying issues that get in the way of the loving relationship that they're looking for. Family Counseling: Families work through challenging dynamics. Some of the challenges addressed in my practice include: -Parenting challenging children and teens -Divorced homes -Blended families -Family Reunification

Marriage and Relationship Counseling

I truly believe that Daniel saved our marriage. He made a believer out of my husband, who didn't find value in counseling prior to our experience with Daniel. He put words where neither one of us were able to & allowed us to communicate with one another with complete transparency. Daniel does not pick sides. He dug deeper and addressed some root problems, then equipped us with the tools and understanding to help us help ourselves. Thank you, Daniel.

Therapy and Counseling

Daniel is the first therapist that has “gotten” my daughter. He has a very gentle and compassionate manner, and is incredibly patient. She has only had three sessions, and I can see that it’s helping her.

Marriage and Relationship Counseling

When my fiancé and I decided to get married, we knew we needed help building a strong foundation for this new step in our life. Upon reading other reviews, we decided to reach out to Daniel. He has been helpful by giving us a chance to hear each other’s points of view as well as providing clarification for our individual thoughts. Which ultimately helped us process of feelings and better understanding one another. We have made so much progress in our relationship and are hopeful for a successful long life together.

Dr Gopin exceeded my expectations on every level. I found him through a google search to help my son, and picked him based on reviews. I was right to do so, as he is excellent with youth and makes a warm and safe place to address hard issues. I often sat in on sessions and felt that he helped me as much as my son with his intuitive advice and compassion. My son is a different person after working with Dr. Gopin for a few months and has opened our communication is really safe and comfortable ways. I will forever be indebted to this very talented therapist.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I offer a variety of packages and discounts depending upon the needs of my clients. I recognize that therapy can be expensive, and I try to meet my clients' needs. I do not accept insurance.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Typically, clients will call for an initial 15 minute phone consultation. This allows me to get a sense of what they're struggling with and whether I can be of assistance. The first session lasts for 45 minutes. With marriage and family counseling, at times 45 minutes doesn't suffice and in future sessions we'll meet for either 75 or 90 minutes.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I received my masters in clinical community counseling at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. At that time, I completed my internship at a private day school. After moving to Atlanta, I began working in private practice at Trillium Springs in Marietta. Additionally, I offered counseling services at JF&CS in Dunwoody.
