I have experience in one-on-one, group, and classroom settings, all of which have enhanced my love for teaching and my passion for inspiring youth. Cassidy is fabulous! Very professional, breaks things down so that the information is understandable. My daughter is in a very tough AP Stats course, thank goodness for the tutoring Cassidy is providing. Cassidy is helping her in ways her teacher cannot. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My base rate is $45/hour for a one-hour, 1:1 session. Fees may be added for last-minute cancellations. I do offer discounted payment arrangements as well! Feel free to message me for more information!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to spend my first session with each student primarily focusing on getting to know their strengths and weaknesses in learning. I also make an effort to find out how they best learn, and how I can accommodate their needs as a tutor.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have earned my Bachelor's degree in mathematics and statistics from Georgia State University, and I have 3 years' experience working in the education sector, both as an educator and in administrative work. I have been tutoring students in levels from elementary to undergraduate school for 6 years.
