Loved working with them. Responsive! I was able to use FaceTime to show them the junk I needed removed so I didn't have to take multiple trips from work to get it done. Same day service. Quick! Professional. Kind!Jun 30, 2017Verified
Local Moving (under 50 miles)
I posted my job for a local move on Thumbtack to begin budgeting. My request went through, well after normal business hours, but I received a quote from Compass Liberty Express, LLC within minutes. Pricing and terms were so straight forward I thought that I needed to discuss the scope. Just one phone call later, Jasean assured me that, barring a hidden piano or some other special item, that they could handle me move for the price quoted and we scheduled the move right away. On the morning of the move, they were in contact early, beat ME to the starting location, started AND finished early. They communicated their status throughout the task and assured me that I didn’t have to worry about any hidden fees or padding of their time. The team at Compass Liberty Express, LLC was prompt, professional and perfect for my local move. Since they also do junk removal, I will be sure to call them again soon!Sep 24, 2017Verified
On time , very professional and fast.. i just had to add that the next day after they help remove trash, they contacted me because they ran across my tablet!! I thought i had it in my car but i had it in a bag set to go to the trash!!! Not only did they meet up with me to return it but they also gave me a folder that i had pictures of my now deceased grandfather in along with his obituary!!!!! Now a days, it is very raw to find honest caring people! Your in good hands!Apr 23, 2018Verified
Great service. On time, quick, and professional. My only issue: they taped a protective blanket around my door frame and the tape left a dirty residue on my wall after they removed it. Otherwise, very good.Jul 19, 2019Verified
Local Moving (under 50 miles)
I hired Compass Liberty to move a 1 bedroom apartment in Midtown to a 4 bedroom house in Powder Springs. Two movers arrived at 11:45am and began working. The building allowed access to a shared elevator until 1pm, at which time we would have a dedicated elevator until 3pm. The truck was not loaded until 3:45pm. I was told that two tempered glass shelves, despite being shrink wrapped in bubble wrap, could not go in the truck and I had to take them myself. One of the legs on a jewelry armoire was broken off and I was told I had to take it as well. Several times I was asked about which items were to be moved and which could stay, due to a concern about not being able to fit everything in the truck. Drawers were removed from a waist high dresser, which I have not seen the previous two times it was moved. I was told that I had an exceptionally large amount of furniture, but I have moved the exact same set of furniture twice in the past three years and have not been told that. Unpacking did not finish until 6:45pm. Due to the number of items I had to move in my own vehicle, I requested and was given a discount. Several pieces of furniture and brand new floors received damage. I filed an insurance claim for the floor damage, which was reimbursed.Dec 10, 2018VerifiedCompass Liberty Express, LLC's reply
Mr. Justice we apologize the move took longer than expected. The primary factors that determine the time of a move includes the distance of carry from the apartment to the truck, the amount of furniture included in the move and the what floor your moving from (+15 stories). Its unusual for a 1 bedroom apartment to have 75+ boxes and 20+ pictures/paintings. We made our best effort to move you as quickly and efficiently as possible. You had an exceptional amount of furniture. There are several things that you left out of this review. I found it strange that you waited several days to let us know about the damages that you reported. It was very challenging to discuss the damages in question with you avoiding our outreach attempts. We immediately came to you home with a contractor ready to repair the damage in question. You refused to allow the contractor with 40+ years experience repair the floor with a 1-year offered warranty. You stated that “you did not feel comfortable” The initial photos provided by you showed 2 damaged boards that were scratched when we received the estimate had 5 damaged boards (2 weeks later) which seemed to be really questionable. We remained with you step by step throughout this process. You did not respond to texts, emails, or phone calls. You solely pursued an insurance claim in all honesty. We were very friendly and polite throughout the process our efforts were not reciprocated your wife was very rude to us yelling from upstairs and would not speak when respectfully greeted. At the end of the day your move was discounted and your questionable claim we reimbursed we believe in customer satisfaction and we did our best to ensure that could. Its hard to agree to terms or work things out with someone who does not want to work things out. We take pride in our reviews we are often a true reflection of service unfortunately we did all we could and still wound up on the short end of the stick. We still wish you the best! ***All of our trucks are now equipped with floor protection rubber floor runners to ensure all costumers floor are protected going forward.
