I have a holistic health first performance based approach to fitness, sports training, recovery and overall wellness. I am an Accredited Exercise Therapist (PTX THERAPY) and Postural PAIN FREE Specialist as well as Nationally Certified Athletic Trainer. - FORM beats Repetition FORM beats EFFORT. Although I do a fair amount of work with clients who are in pain or not functioning optimally ( Hips Back Knees Shoulders Wrists Neck etc) I have a strong background in COMPETITIVE Athletic Training and conditioning. I am a former Division I Athlete ( Boston College Track and Field (800M/ 1.50 and Mile 4.20 ) and Rugby additionally I am a Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts enthusiast. Brief History....I have always been active; seeking better performance and a competitive edge in sports and my business endeavors. I have always enjoyed training HARD to get Faster Stronger and a Physique that reflected the work. In 2006 my world was turned upside down. I was struck by truck while mountain biking home from the gym. The accident left me in agonizing pain and nearly disabled. My Orthopedic Doctor and Chiropractor told me Id likely never have an active lifestyle again..No Lifting No Sprinting No Jumping. To me THIS was UNACCEPTABLE . My orthopedic doctor only recommendation was surgery (50% or less long term success) to mitigate the intense hip and back pain,- herniated and bulging discs , -burning sciatic nerve issues daily for three years despite regular Massages, Spinal Adjustments, Physical Therapy, Tens Unit, Dry Needling, Acupuncture and etc> I opted to explore an alternative path---Smarter Exercise- (Non Traditional) I was convinced that could regain my health and wellness and active lifestyle itself If I found the underlying cause of the pain and Not just the Pain (Symtoms) . Fortunately I was introduced by chance to Specialists in California- The Egoscue Method. Their methodology did NOT treat the PAIN but the CAUSE of the pain....Major structural and Muscular imbalance that lead to Dysfunction and Compensating patterns that contributed to my condition -- I was so impressed with the result that I enrolled in their University program to learn in depths their methodology. TODAY I am in the best shape of my LIFE. You would be hard pressed to envision me disable or hobbling with pain. The best. I had back surgery a little over a year ago and love working with David because he is conscientious of my injury but knows how to push me appropriately. It's not easy...it shouldn't be. But I love how much stronger I feel and would recommend David without hesitation.

I started working with David in September of 2017 and have really enjoyed training with him. I began working with David in hopes of getting toned and learning more focused practices I could use in the gym. He has educated me in full-body training, and I can now burn more calories while also strengthening multiple areas at the same time ... all in LESS time then I was spending in the gym previously. However, I have been most impressed and appreciative in David's approach to training. He also spends training time on realignment and body aches (when needed or requested). On our first session he immediately identified concerns with my hips, stemming from years of ballet (i.e. constant turn out) and we have also been working on strengthening my back. I occasionally have backaches from my job (driving, desk work, heavy lifting) and he helps me stretch into the affected areas on weeks when I'm sore. After 4 months with David I have noticeable results in my core, endurance and body alignment. He has completely improved how I approach my work outs alone. I love that he challenges me, but that I always feel successful and accomplished in our workouts. He greatly varies my workouts each week, and he has a gym full of awesome equipment that I had never tried before! This is one of the best investments I have made for improving my lifestyle ... I highly recommend a commitment with David!

Working with David has been amazing! I have health challenges that make it difficult to work out but David's program has helped me become stronger. I look forward to our sessions together. David helps me with my form and balance. If I'm having trouble with a particular exercise, he always finds a way to modify it so I can do it safely. I strongly recommend David especially if you have pain or health issues.

David is absolutely AMAZING. He is great at what he does. No workout is the same & he will work parts of your body you never worked before. He doesn't use a bunch of machines or require a bunch of boring cardio. He is big on movement and form. His equipment consists of things like bulgarian bags, resistance bands etc. I would recommend him to any & everyone. I hate exercise but i love coming to train & have a new out look on working out !
