Jontell was a pleasant hard-working professional. When problems arose with 36 yr. old fixtures in both the bathroom sink faucet and tub-shower faucet replacements
Carlos was great to work with. I hired him to handle my lighting on a reno project and he was quick and efficient to install new lighting throughout the house and added can lights in the kitchen. He later came to my rescue when a previous contractor didn’t work out and was quick to pick up the add’l work installing new flooring, a ceiling repair, painting and fixing a tile backsplash in the kitchen. Thanks to him, I was finally able to sell my property and everyone complemented the finishes especially, thanks to Carlos!!
Nathan re-routed dishwasher drain hose. This repair fixed dishwasher problem and prevented new purchase. The repair was done same day for a fair price parts included. Excellent service. Very professional.
Sylvester came on time as promised. Did a great job repairing my half bath (toilet replacement and pedestal repair for sink). Would recommend without reservation, and he will be my first call when I have a plumbing need in the future.
Our leak underneath kitchen sink was repaired quickly. Right after checking out thumbtack, I received recommendations and was contacted by Jim at Pro Plumber right away. Our repair was completed the very next day - thanks.
Ok, so here's the story...I'm a pretty enterprising person and generally do my own repairs when possible. My boss asked me not to do the work (I think they know how dirty I get ...and this is an office environment) and so I called the PINK PLUMBER. Here's what they wanted to charge me: $1124 - new upscale toilet $ 784 - new regular toilet $ 748 - repair (seal, fill valve and trip lever) with a 90 Day Warranty $ 449 - repair without a warranty I paid that guy the $59.00 not included in the costs above and sent him on his way. SO - I looked on Thumbtack and this very reasonable, no BS person named ERIC from Georgia Master Plumbing called me and showed up within a couple of hours. He charged me: $ 189 - repair with a 1 YEAR warranty. Eric's great communication and professional demeanor notwithstanding, the facts speak for themselves.
I hired Scoa remodeling to work on a house built in 1953 that I am about to sell. There was rotten wood all along the exterior facia which needed replacing and painting. Mr. Wilkins proposed a plan to repair the wood, and pressure wash and paint the exterior. His work was quick and very professional so I hired Scoa to paint the interior and fix some buckled dry wall. Mr. Wilkins repaired dry wall, fixed a minor mold problem and painted the interior of the house. The work took about 1 1/2 months and was very professional. He gave me a fair price on all the work. I will hire him again at my next place. Also, I hired Jimmy for an entire home remodel and he handled the entire renovation for me. He painted the interior and exterior and painted the kitchen cabinets so now they look brand new. He installed brand new hardwoods in the kitchen and sanded and polished the existing hardwoods so they look brand new also. He renovated two bathrooms with new tile and glaze to the existing tub so that looks brand new as well. He installed all the new fixtures and appliances in the kitchen. You can hire Jimmy for small jobs or very large jobs. His prices are very good and his quality is excellent. I highly recommend him and I will call him my self for future jobs.
After spending hours on line looking for a Jacuzzi certified plumber to come fix my bathtub, and calling plumber after plumber, I stumbled across Thumbtack and Bay responded to the need. He was very professional and efficient. He arrive early in the morning, so that he would have time, if it was needed to go around searching for parts, once he figured out what the problem was, which was a great idea because he ended up driving all over Atlanta (for real) till he found a part that worked. He fixed my tub and was very reasonable with the price for his time and labor. Thanks Bay! We'll be calling you in a couple of months to replace all of our toilets. : )
Patrick has completed multiple projects for me from laying my hardwood, polished porcelain flooring, exceptional with painting without using painters tap to plumbing. He is reliable and gets the job done! Thanks Patrick!
Bruce Hood was fast, thorough and gracious! He got our repairs done very quickly, considered our child's nap time and was able to keep any sounds down enough that she was able to sleep two and half hours through the work! Our master bedroom flooring looks better than before and the closet drywall repairs are perfect! We will be using Hood Construction in the future and recommend him to any one!
Scope: Replace the roman tub faucets and add a handheld shower to the tub. Experience: Marcin gave me a timeslot for when his crew would arrive. Unfortunately, the crew got held up at another job and could not tend to my project that day. Marcin kept me updated on the status of the crew and communicated with me promptly. We then agreed upon a time slot the next morning, and his crew arrived as promised. Mike, the lead technician, got started quickly and paid attention to detail. Accessing the tub valves can be challenging, and the crew took initiative and measures to ensure they did things the right way and not cut corners. We had discussed the scope in detail over phone the previous day, and the crew came equipped with all tools; especially as we had to drill a new hole in the acrylic tub. The best part was that they honored the price they quoted me. Looking at their professionalism and hard work, I was glad to pay them 20% gratuity over the agreed-upon price. I would use these guys in the future.
Don remodeled our main bathroom which included replacing all the flooring, tub and walls. Additionally, he replaced our entry way door with a custom door. He was professional, timely and did quality work. We enjoyed working with him and will definitely use him for our future projects.
Where do I start? I'll start by saying I originally hired another contractor on Thumbtack to install porcelain tile in our master bathroom and it was the worse experience I've had. I hired Leo to fix the mess the other contractor left and I will say I'm 100% satisfied. Leo did more in two days than the previous contractor did in a week. They first came in and laid out paper on my downstairs hardwood floors and stairs to avoid stains. Then they laid out plastic on my upstairs carpet and other furniture to avoid getting dust all over everything. True professionalism! The final product came out better than I expected. After completion of the job, they cleaned up all of the material and got rid of all of the excess waste. We were so pleased with the job, we asked for quotes on other projects that we want to get done. I will definitely be hiring Leo for all of my home improvement projects. And trust me, there are many!
I recently purchased a home and have had a few handymen over in the past weeks for minor repairs to the home. Eric is definitely the best one I've had over so far. His prices were fair and he was able to perform repairs the other handymen had trouble with such as replacing an overheating recessed light and repairing a leaky tub spout. The only negative thing I would say is that he could work on scheduling better (when I went to reschedule another appointment he wasn't able to come for almost 2 weeks) but otherwise I'm extremely pleased with his services.
I'd called Gordon plumbing from out of state to take a bad scenario with a re-bath tub and to install a new one. He gave a fair price and showed as promise. He encountered some problems along the way from dealing with thick molding around a cast iron tub in an 65 year old home.He explained the process along the way and help minimized the cost. After completing the job, he was nice enough to recommed someone to finish and tile my wall. Honest, dependable work, it's refreshing. Gordon plumbing is the one to call.
Dannny Logan was extremely caring, thorough and did a phenomenal job, repairing my leaky bathtub faucet. Danny is a kind man and reasonably priced. Danny even took the time to teach me about the different kinds of fixtures and parts needed for repairs. I will be using Danny's services again for future plumbing projects, needs and other misc. fixed around my home. I highly recommend him for whatever your plumbing needs are.
Did a great job removing our old wood like floors and replaced them with porcelain tile. Since we only knew of the big box stores who sell floors, Andrew gave some names of some flooring warehouses and some buying tips. We did find a larger selection at the warehouses as opposed to the big box stores. We did get a good price for some fabulous porcelain flooring that was commercial grade and looks rich. He also helped me with a few wood kitchen cabinet issues we had. Overall, we are very pleased.
Warren fixed a tub leak and a toilet leak for me. I could tell he was conscientious about being on time and making sure the customer is comfortable. The price was also very reasonable. I am taking away one star because he did need to come back to adjust something on the first job, and the second visit had to be rescheduled because his earlier booking went long; this was a hassle for me as I had left work early specifically for this appointment. However, I was ultimately happy with the results and how the situation was handled (he was responsive about the needed adjustment and was right on time for the rescheduled time the next day), so I would hire again.
We had an immediate need but no time to tackle what we thought was a simple job: temporarily removing the sliding glass bathtub shower doors for easier tub access and installing a shower curtain rod. Claiborne took care of everything promptly and made it look straightforward (turned out, it wasn't!) - and kept the parts intact and organized so we can have the doors reinstalled in the future. Fine job. Definitely recommend Handy Man Clay!
