I had a consultation for a grant. She was very professional and knowledgeable. Got me pointed in the right direction as to what I need to get started.Jan 7, 2020Verified
Do not work out problems alone without explanation. The student must work out the problems themselves with guidance.Nov 25, 2017
I have had the pleasure of knowing Ms.Caldwell for over three years. Not only is she multitalented, but she is an excellent all around tutor and motivator. I am now in the 12th grade in a highly advanced program known to some as IB. Sarah's critique of my World Lit Paper allowed me to synthesize my ideas and eliminate any passive voice that would have affected my scoring. Her prices were also very reasonable and I had my feedback within a very timely manner. A++++++Oct 23, 2016Verified
I really appreciate the editing comments. The Grammer Queen provides much more than text and Grammer editing. I learned a lot from her. I am almost finished with my second book and by incorporating her recommendations it is a better story. Truly worth the money.Dec 10, 2014Verified

my friend and I are enjoying our semi-private classes with Sarah. she is fun, patient and most important knowledgeable. I feel comfortable to ask any question and still get great answers. I would recommend her to anyone who want to polish her English and writing skills.May 5, 2015Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Proofreading, just a surface level edit, runs 1 cent/word. Full editing, with fact-checking and vocabulary and phrase suggestions, is 3 cents/word. It depends on the level of editing desired and the length of the piece.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The customer may pay for a few pages as a sample or begin by paying half the cost up front. Then s/he sends the manuscript and I do the editing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I was raised by the Queen of the Grammar Police so I can recognize a single grammatical error on a full page in little more than a glance. I have a doctorate, so I wrote my own book, and I have 10 years as a professional writer and editor.
