I wanted to mount a larger TV/monitor for my home office. I notice the reviews DOI (Day One Installation) had on Thumbtack. My intial impressive was their response time. Thumbtack reported just under 45 minutes. When i sent my request, they responded in less than 30 minutes. The rep listen to my needs over the phone and was able to give me an actual quote since the complexity of the job did not require a site visit for an estimate. The day of the job, the technician shown up on time as promised and extended a courtesy call when he was 30 minutes out from my destination. He ask questions about my job and what i was trying to achieve. He put himself in my shoes and excuted the job to perfection. I know my job was not complex but i can tell no matter how big or small the job entails he would be fully committed. He also took the time to answer questions pertaining to something separate from the job being performed. DOI has my highest recommendation for any job that requires installation, cable runs, for entertainment and security systems, or home fixtures that draws electricity or data.
