We spoke with two different ASL tutors. One was an "agent" who contracted out and Akera is an actual tutor. Pricing was very reasonable and my daughter immediately benefitted. She is now confident in ASL with Akera and we are so happy to have found her.

Typically, we schedule a free consultation with clients to get to know each individual. We also strategize how we achieve the goals of each client. Our first session, we spend a few minutes with general introduction and get right into learning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
American Sign Language (ASL) has always been one of my passions. I started learning 9 years old. I started learning ASL by interpreting music. My passion grew into pursuing a career in ASL Interpreting.
