FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When I deliver a quote, I include the all in price. Although it may seem pricy, it does include the cost of all the materials used in any landscaping projects that we do. Preventively, we typically price the materials as more than needed so the actual price of the project may be less than the initial quote. We only charge the customer on what we use. There are no hidden fees and if requested, we will detail the pricing breakdown.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Understanding the project is the main concern when working with a new customer. Typically, when we do a landscaping project, we want to share the same vision as our employer. If they want a mulching job done, we will provide a detailed list of all possible types of mulch and it's pricing. It's important for us to make sure that we get the details right the first time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been working in the landscaping business for a few years now and much of the education and training that I have has just came from experience. My dad once told me that you can watch videos on how to drive, but that doesn't mean you can drive. Experience is an amazing thing especially when it comes to landscaping. First time landscapers will miss the details when it comes to delivering a good finished project. We are past that stage and deliver on what we promise.
