- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Our owner has been swimming ever since she could remember. After experiencing a near drowning incident when she was a child, her concerned father placed her in learn to swim classes. She's been swimming ever since. After completing 10 years of competitive swimming, she went on to finish college and obtain a bachelor's degree in mass communication and journalism. After graduating college, Leslie experienced what seemed like a career setback. She started teaching swim lessons to kids and adults one summer at her neighborhood pool and after discovering the great need for others to learn to swim, Leslie stated her swim lesson instruction business in 2013.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Recently, weve partnered with the Atlanta Beltline Project here in Atlanta, GA to provide free swimming courses and fitness classes on the weekends for kids and adults. We offer beginner courses for kids and adults and also advanced swim workout courses for adults who are gearing up for triathlons.
