FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $60/hr for a private lesson, $70/hr for a semi-private lesson ($35/ea.). This is very competitive as most clubs around town charge $75/hr or more for a private 1 hour lesson.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask them what, specifically they would like to work on. It is their lesson! :-)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have earned U.S.P.T.A. certification. The exam for this certification is a rigorous one that requires the instructor demonstrates proficiency in 1) Teaching a group lesson, 2) Teaching a private lesson, 3) on-court playing ability and 4) a 4 hour written exam on all aspects of tennis including stroke analysis, corrective techniques, strategy, grip types, court surfaces, match play etc.
