- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most of my pricing is a flat fee for simple tasks such as toilet installs, water heaters, or faucet install etc. For multiple tasks or complex jobs, I will break down pricing with the homeowner.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I make sure I know exactly what the homeowner needs or is looking to do. Then I will give them different options to see what fits with their budget. I’ll answer any questions they have about brands and different styles of fixtures as well as what may have caused their current issue.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20 years in the trade and I’ve been blessed to work under and with some great plumbers, both in construction and service. In Illinois the apprenticeship is 5 years of on-the-job experience as well as classroom training.
