- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
During the initial meetings, I discuss pricing options, which depend on the nature of the work and the length of the project engagement. I can quote either hourly or per-project rates.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After initial email exchange, I typically set up a phone conversation or in-person meeting over coffee. The first meeting is exploratory and absolutely free. After this phone call or in-person meeting, the project work begins. I usually keep in close contact over email, with regular phone conversations, to touch base until the project is completed. I believe in good, consistent communication and dialogue, leading to on-time, high-quality project completion and delivery.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communications (with a major in Advertising) from the University of Kansas, and have worked as a writer, editor and communications strategist for more than 15 years.
