FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer discounts when 4 or more sessions are booked as a package.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to ask some questions about your experience, injuries I should be aware of, and your goals (stress management, flexibility, etc). From that point, I will design a session tailored to fit your needs and we will build from there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am trained at the highest level through Yoga Alliance (500 RTY). Here is a more detailed description of my experience: Brittany Wilkerson (RYT 500) found yoga as a young actor in New York City thirteen years ago and something shifted. Yoga provided a sense of presence, a remembrance of the joy of movement, and tools that eased her anxious mind and allowed her to experience life in a more integrated and connected way. After moving to the west coast in 2007, Brittany began practicing at Liberation Yoga in Los Angeles, where she received her 200-hour teaching certification under the guidance of Christine Burke, Steven Espinosa, and Jeanne Korn. She went on to study with renowned teacher Annie Carpenter (SmartFlow) in Venice, CA through a mentorship that led to advanced certification in 2013. Brittany's students have ranged in age from 3 to 85 and she has taught in a variety of settings, from eating disorder treatment centers to high schools to yoga studios. Brittany believes wholeheartedly in the universality of yoga and its ability to connect us all to our shared humanity. You can find Brittany performing in a variety of settings around town, perusing the farmers market, and just like all of us, trying to remember to pause, breathe, and BE right here, right now.
